Cloud enters the forest surrounding Gongaga. As Cloud walks down the road toward Gongaga, he stops right before a fork in the path.

Special Note: Gongaga’s events can be accessed at different points and supposedly, some dialogue will change accordingly. Ex: Nanaki’s dialogue changes after Cosmo Canyon. However, it seems that a glitch makes me unable to access Nanaki’s dialogue after Cosmo Canyon, probably due to using the RO6 without the Gamma 3 patch. I will try again after Wutai to see if Vincent and Cid’s dialogue will upload. If not, there are future plans for this script to be eventually updated with R07.

Someone’s there…

A little further on, Leno and Rude are talking.

Rude looks away.

Cloud turns around to face Yrena and jolts in surprise.
All they ever babble on about is who they like or don’t like. At least Zeng’s different.
Both Cloud and Yrena now jolt in surprise and realization.

Yrena runs over to Leno and Rude. Facing Leno…
Sir! They’re here! They came!

Cloud and others follow the left, then right fork in the path, which leads to a ruined reactor. Inside its ruins…

A ruined reactor.
A helicopter lands just outside. Scarlet and Zeng begin to head into the ruins.
It’s Scarlet—head of the Weapons Department.

Cloud runs over and hides behind some rubble. Scarlet and Zeng walk in.

SCARLET
Hmph! This isn’t any good, either. You only get crap materia from crap reactors.
She walks back over toward Zeng.
This reactor is usesless. What I’m looking for is big, large, Huge Materia. You know anything about that?

ZENG
I’m afraid not. But I’ll be sure to investigate it right away.
​
SCARLET
Please. We should be able to make the ultimate weapon if we can get our hands on some.
​
ZENG

There was a huge explosion at the reactor. Many of our people were caught up in it and lost their lives. It’s been a while since that day, but you can still see the scars it left all over that village. …sigh… Do you need anything?

Aerith turns back around and takes a few steps toward Cloud.
