BLACK-HAIRED MAN NPC (Yeah, thanks)
Here, you fight tooth and nail for Battle Points, which can be exchanged for goodies. The place is one big fighting game, except your life is on the line. To enter, pay with GP at the front desk there. You can fight up to eight battles in a row. Of course, the more you win, the more Battle Points you’ll receive. Thing is, if you lose just one battle, you also lose all the points you’ve earned. Each time you win, you decide whether to carry on fighting or not. Handicaps are dished out as well to make things even harder. The arena decides the handicaps, so you won’t know what you’re stuck with until right before the battle begins. Last but not least, if you leave this area, your Battle Points will be wiped clean, so be careful. Oh, and the maximum number of points you can accumulate is 65000. You can’t gain any more than that. If you ever get that many points, be sure to exchange them for something.

The soldier kneels and raises his arms into the air.

Cloud looks out the window and sees the Shooting Roller Coaster.

More fireworks go off along with the sound of a slap. The gondola pulls into the Round Square. Cloud and Yuffie exit the gondola. He turns to face her, while Yuffie faces the gondola, away from him.

She turns to face Cloud.

Cloud nods.

Cloud turns and takes a few steps toward the door. Barrett walks in and meets him halfway in the room.

Barrett shrugs.
